Chippewa (Ojibway) inspired Manitou Sculpture or Totem. Hand carved and assembled from local Basswood, hand painted, and costumed in fur, leather, beads, feathers, etc.
Approximately 20 inches tall. Numbered and signed by artists Kevin and Tanner Gadomski.
Bobcat is a totem of Vigilance and Suspicion. He's not 'hyper-vigilant' or paranoid, he's just keeping both eyes wide open while he's awake and probably one while he's asleep. He's not overly trusting, is he? He uses a simple snare to catch small game and an equally simple willow frame to stretch and tan hides.
