Chippewa (Ojibway) inspired Manitou Sculpture or Totem. Hand carved and assembled from local Basswood, Butternut, hand painted, fur, leather, beads, feathers, etc.
Approximately 22 inches tall. Numbered edition of 100, and signed by artists Kevin and Tanner Gadomski.
As well as being a totem of perseverance, Kestrel also has the far-memory of recalling past lives. His animal helper, the Red Belly Snake represents wisdom and reincarnation as well as being the magic cord by which Kestrel travels to the soul world.
